Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rosan from Irbid National University participates in the international scientific conference on digital transformation and its implications for sustainable development at the University of Damascus

With the aim of identifying contemporary research and experiences in the field of digital transformation and its role in sustainable development, and learning about ways to apply digital transformation in all fields, and at the invitation of the University of Damascus to participate in the activities of the International Scientific Conference on Digital Transformation and its Implications for Sustainable Development, which was organized by the Faculty of Economics at the University of Damascus in cooperation With the National Union of Syrian Students and the (Interact) Foundation for Exhibitions and Conferences, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rousan/Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, on behalf of Irbid Private University, participated in his scientific paper entitled (The Impact of Electronic Management on Sustainable Development in Jordanian Pharmaceutical Companies Digital Leadership is a Modified Variable), which The audience was impressed.

Professor Dr. Al-Rousan pointed out that the conference was attended by researchers and specialists from Arab and foreign countries, including: Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, the Sultanate of Oman, Lebanon, Egypt, Sudan, Iran, India, and the United Kingdom, in addition to the participation of a number of ministries, government agencies, institutions, and companies. The special program in Syria, and continued during the period from 5/27-29/2024, and during its multiple sessions, the participants discussed six topics at the University of Damascus, including: the digital economy and its impact on promoting economic growth, the role of electronic management in achieving sustainable development, and the role of digitization as a strategic option. In supporting financial inclusion, the importance of modeling and measurement in digital transformation, the digital transformation strategy in the government sector, and the challenges facing the accounting and auditing profession in light of digital transformation.
