Student services at the Deanship of Student Affairs are one of the main pillars for students, and it performs the following tasks:
  • Issuing university IDs, renewing them, and issuing a damaged replacement.
  • Organizing, supervising and preparing for recreational trips for students.
  • Facilitate students’ communication with their families and with the local community through phone and e-mail.
  • Receiving the lost items and handing them over to their owners.
  • Caring for students with disabilities and assisting them in the fields of admission, registration and all procedures related to their special situation in their academic career, assisting blind students in writing exams, moving around the campus, organizing cultural, sports and artistic activities for them with the aim of integrating them into the student community, in addition to following up the implementation of construction in the university buildings that would facilitate their movement on campus.

Contribute to building the normal personality of university students and adopting their problems.

Mission:

Achieving a distinguished professional level in psychological counseling services for university students and members of the local community in a way that enhances the leading role of the university.

Objectives:

The Psychological and Educational Counseling Center at the university seeks to achieve its objectives by providing specialized services to students in three basic areas:
First: psychological counseling
Second: Educational Guidance
Third: Social Counseling
Services Provided:
1- Conducting training workshops, awareness lectures in coordination with the competent governmental or private authorities.
2- Raising the level of university life skills among students, such as:
  • Test Management Skill
  • Problem solving skill
  • Time management skill
  • Communication skills
  • Study Skills
3- Raising the level of academic adaptation such as: achievement, students who are struggling academically, and those who are warned because of the average.
4- Raising the level of social adaptation through:
  • Anger management skill
  • Self-assertion skill
  • Stress Immunization Skill
