The nursing profession is characterized as a humanitarian profession, which is an art and science pursued by the nurse to provide therapeutic services to the community to maintain the health of the individual and remain healthy, and nursing aims to monitor the patient’s health status during his lying on the recovery bed and reduce the complications that may accompany the disease.
The Department of Nursing at Irbid National University aims to provide students with basic and advanced nursing information, which contributes to the preparation of a nursing staff capable of providing comprehensive nursing care to all members of society.
The department supervises the optimal preparation and application of the educational process for all nursing courses with high professional efficiency, and the continuous evaluation of the educational process is a key principle to ensure access to quality and excellence in the performance of the department.
The department includes a distinguished group of faculty members of various academic ranks and research interests, who teach theoretical courses and participate in community service.
