Department Head’s Message:
The nursing profession is characterized as a humanitarian profession. It is an art and science that the nurse pursues to provide therapeutic services to the community to preserve the individual’s health and stay healthy. Nursing also aims to monitor the patient’s health condition while he is lying on the recovery bed and reduce the complications that may accompany the disease.
Based on the university’s philosophy, vision and mission of the College of Nursing at Arba National University, the Nursing Department seeks to create an advanced educational environment equipped with the latest modern means of halls, classrooms and a distinguished teaching staff to enhance the academic status of the nursing profession.
The Nursing Department at Irbid National University aims to provide students with basic and advanced nursing information that contributes to preparing a nursing staff capable of providing comprehensive nursing care to all members of society.
The department supervises the optimal preparation and implementation of the educational process for all nursing courses with high professional efficiency, and continuous evaluation of the educational process is a key principle to ensure access to quality and distinction in the department’s performance.
The department includes a distinguished group of faculty members from various academic ranks and research interests, who teach theoretical courses and participate in community service.
