The College of Arts and Arts is the first college established at Irbid National University more than two and a half decades ago, and it contains four departments:
- Department of Arabic Language and Literature
- Department of English Language and Literature
- and University Requirements Department
- Translation Department
One of the most important objectives of the college is to actively participate in advancing development in all its aspects in the Kingdom, so the college has contributed with its departments – and still – contributes to the service of society. Since its establishment, a large number of distinguished and effective scientific competencies and leaders have graduated in all different areas of life. The college considers its faculty and students to be the most important element for achieving excellence and success. The College stems from its firm belief in the importance of strategic planning as one of the important foundations in building academic scientific institutions and developing their performance through human, material and moral resources, and employing them to achieve the visions and objectives of the university according to a specific timetable. The college also believes that distinguished education should adapt to the developments around us, so the college seeks to develop academic programs at various levels, to meet the needs of the local and international labor market for scientifically and cognitively distinguished scientific competencies, in addition to its continuous development of its study plans, to contain skills that are added to the specialization subjects, and prepare students after their graduation in light of the challenges of the new era, and knowledge management systems in the era of the knowledge and digital economy, and adapt to these developments.
