Achievements of the Faculty of Arts and Arts in the period 1/1/2020 until 31/12/2020 AD

• The celebration of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature in honoring the graduate students and receiving His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Khasawneh, President of Irbid National University, accompanied by His Excellency the Mayor of Greater Irbid Municipality, Eng. Hussein Bani Hani, on Tuesday, 14/1/2020 in the Hashemite Hall.
• The participation of the Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, Dr. Adnan Al-Shuraim in the training course entitled Preparing a Quality Assessor Accredited by the Accreditation Commission representing the College of Arts and Arts, which was held at the Middle East University / Amman over a period of three days from 18-20/1/2020, and organized by the Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission. Dr. Adnan Al-Shuraim obtained the certificate of “Certified Quality Assessor at the Higher Education Accreditation Commission”, on 18-20/1/2020.
• Amending and developing the plan of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature to be consistent with the standards and competencies approved by the Higher Education Accreditation Commission and its quality assurance based on the visit of the Accreditation Committee to the university on Tuesday, 31/12/2019.
• Completing the file of raising the absorptive capacity, completing its papers in full, and submitting it to the Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission.
• Forming a technical committee from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, headed by the head of the department, Dr. Adnan Al-Shuraim to sort the applications for appointment of applicants for appointment in the department as a faculty member in the field of language and grammar, and to select the following faculty members: 1. Dr. “Nadeed Al-Tal” 2. Dr. Ahmed Al-Zawahra, and the school Zainab Ibdah, duly.
• The Dean of the College of Arts and Arts, colleagues, Director of the Library Department, Director of the King Abdullah Fund, and Director of the Public Relations and Media Department attended the training course entitled Empowerment and Self-Capacity Building for Leaders, on Monday 13/1 and Wednesday 15/1, under the supervision of the international trainer, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Odeh, in the Hashemite Hall.
• The Head of the University Requirements Department, Dr. Osama Saleh, held an intellectual symposium in historical philosophy entitled “The Corona Crisis and the Horizon of the International Conflict” on 29/4/2020.
• Attendance and participation / University Requirements Department Dr. Osama Saleh in the seminar “The role of Jordanian university writings in facing the Corona / Covid 19 pandemic” on 31/10/2020
• Attendance and participation of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature in the symposium of the International Association of Arabic Language Departments Seminar entitled Development of study plans and courses for Arabic language departments on 8/7/2020 AD
• The participation of the University Requirements Department in a scientific meeting with Princess Sumaya University represented by the Head of the Department, Dr. Osama Saleh, “Preparing the instructions of the Center of Excellence for Jordanian Private Universities Libraries”. On 8/7/2020.
• The participation of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, represented by the Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, Dr. Adnan Al-Shuraim in the fourth meeting of the General Assembly of the Departments of Arabic Language and Literature in the Arab world and the world on 24/6/2020.
• Attendance and participation of the Department of English Language and Literature in a workshop entitled “Represented by Dr. Loay Abu Libdeh in a workshop entitled “Implementation of the National Qualifications Framework”. On 4-7/10/2020.
• Participation of the University Requirements Department in the official announcement of the establishment of the Center of Excellence in Library Services for Jordanian Private Universities. On 4-5/10/2020.
• The participation of the University Requirements Department in the nineteenth conference entitled “Education and Training of Librarians for the Future” on 16/11/2020.
• The Department of Arabic Language hosted a cultural discussion seminar on the life of the Jordanian poet Habib Al-Zeyoudi on 1/9/2020.
• Subscribe to the ProQuest subscription base. On 1/9/2020.
• The Department of Arabic Language and Literature obtained the membership of the International Association of Arabic Departments, affiliated to the Association of Arab Universities on 15/11/2020.
• A research in applied linguistics by Dr. Issa Al-Abdulrazzaq was published in the Department of English Language and Literature in an international scientific journal classified (IRA) and the research title: Resumption and Optionality in Arabic Definite Restrictive Relations”
• A research in literature and criticism by Dr. Adnan Al-Shuraim was published in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature in an international refereed scientific journal classified (Scopus) and the research title: Khalil Hawi In poetical “The Threshing Floors of Hunger (Bayader al ju’o) “intellectual Trends and Poetic References”, Multicultural Education , ISSN: 1063844, 2020.
• A research in literature and criticism by Dr. Adnan Al-Shuraim was published in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature in “Irbid National Magazine” entitled “Structural Patterns in Modern Arab Criticism: A Descriptive and Critical Vision” – Irbid National Journal 2020.
• Publishing a research in language and grammar by Dr. Saddam Miqdadi in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature in an international scientific journal classified (Scopus) and the title of the research: The effect of gender on language USE: a sociolinguistic study
