العمل على إحداث نقلة نوعية في التعليم الجامعي وتحقيق مستوى متميز من الخريجين ذوي المؤهلات العلمية والمهارات العالمية المطلوبة لسوق العمل، وتهيئة بيئة طبيعية وأكاديمية وتكنولوجية جاذبة ومحفزة للإبداع والتميز، والنهوض بالبحث العلمي المرتبط بالتنمية المستدامة، والارتقاء بالتفاعل مع المجتمع للمساهمة في تطويره والنهوض به علمياً، واقتصادياً، واجتماعياً، وحضارياً.
