In a move aimed at enhancing academic and research cooperation between universities, Irbid National University, represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Majed Abu Azriq, and the Polytechnic University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a joint research and development center for the University of Irbid. (Polytechnic) Palestine, represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Abu Al-Safa, signed a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing fruitful cooperation between the two universities in the field of developing education and scientific research, and encouraging the organization of joint cooperation activities with the aim of cross-fertilizing experiences in the field of teaching and administration, in addition to other cultural promotion activities..

The two parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas: developing joint educational programs, organizing scientific conferences and seminars, exchanging publications and research, exchanging faculty members and students, cooperating in joint research projects, providing training services and building scientific capacities in the field of teaching. The two parties stressed the importance of activating cooperation in a way that achieves the mutual benefit of the two universities, by taking advantage of the available capabilities and exchanging scientific expertise.

Professor Dr. Majed Abu Azriq welcomed the delegation of Palestine Polytechnic University, stressing that this strategic agreement between the two universities falls within the framework of a multi-dimensional partnership that brings together the two countries that share the same values ​​and common destiny. He pointed out that the goal is to make this agreement a pillar that has tangible repercussions on the two institutions, and that the opportunities for cooperation between the two universities are promising..
